Inclusion Criteria:

A patient who is suffering from sacroiliac joint/lowback pain without radicular symptoms (sciatica).

Goal/Result

Week 1-2:

Patient should report no pain at rest.

Week 3-4:

Marked reduction of pain, free from tenderness.

Week 4-5:

Patient is independent with strengthening program Without exacerbation of symptoms.

Week 6-8:

Patient is independent with home exercise program Without exacerbation of symptoms.

Week 8+:

Muscle strength is within normal limits with no Symptoms and discharged from physical therapy.

Additional weeks of therapy may be necessary in certain co-existing conditions especially in case of females. Obesity, diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, early menopause/hysterectomy, thoracic kyphosis with diagnosis of osteoporosis/osteopenia, back pain/SI joint pain same side (with or without scoliosis/leg length discrepancy) and smoking.
